About WBRB

Welcome to Westchester Babe Ruth Baseball at Ivan Miller field. We have been here since 1956 our league has served thousands of baseball players ages 13-15 and for the past 38 years, the present Gas Company site has been home to WBRB.

The league has always been administered and managed by an all-volunteer group of community leaders. Many of the coaches are former players who pride themselves on giving back their time to helping young players, just as someone did for them. While the program has committed coaches, there is also a staff of volunteers who donate their time to ensure your son has one of the best facilities in which to play.

You, as parents, play a vital role in the success of WBRB. We need your support every week to work the snack bar, work the scoreboard, keep the scorebook, and set-up/take-down the field. It is VERY important that you sign up for these duties. It is all that we ask of the parents, so please be sure and support your coaches, so they can focus on teaching the game of baseball.

It has been an honor to serve as league president for the past 14 seasons. The executive staff and a few of the coaches have been there with me throughout the journey. This league has become a special part of our lives, particularly because of the families and players we’ve met over the years. I believe we share common bond; we all love the game of baseball.

Thank you in advance for enabling your son’s success on the baseball field. Thank you for supporting our volunteer managers and coaches. Your continued support will ensure we will have another great season of baseball.
